Welcome
Mulherin Air & Electrical is a locally established business, built from two long standing companies merging in 2025 - Powerfast Electrical and Mulherin Air Conditioning Services.
Mulherin Air Conditioning Services
Locally owned by Brett and Jodie Mulherin, has grown from a humble backyard shed operation to a thriving business with over a dozen employees. For more than 20 years, we’ve built our reputation on value, customer satisfaction, and strong, long-term relationships - some clients have trusted us for over two decades.
Powerfast Electrical
Was established in 2009 by Jason Russell, a local Mackay based electrician. Over the past 15 years the business has grown exponentially, due to hard work and a distinguished reputation. Powerfast Electrical specialises in a wide range of fields including new domestic constructions, commercial construction projects, as well as servicing local homeowners and businesses for their installation and maintenance requirements.
Organisation Structure
Mulherin Air & Electrical consists of a well-trained team including two directors, two administration staff, two supervisors along with approximately 20 team members.
We are committed to regular safety meeting held by an independent trainer, as well as mandatory requirements LV/CPR. We are committed to continual staff professional development through external courses in staff and project management. Our company is committed to the next generation by providing ongoing training and support to both electrical and refrigeration and air conditioning apprentices.

Both directors are born and bred in the Mackay region, both love giving back to our community through sponsorship and volunteer roles.
We are committed to the next generation hosting school work experience placements while also creating employment opportunities by mentoring apprentices and investing in the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
